Encouraging access, achieving impact

Alongside education, access is a core priority. Through its Impact initiatives, LIONS continues to expand opportunities for under-represented talent to participate in the

Festival. LIONS Scholarship, Jodi Harris Scholarship (in partnership with AB InBev) and the See It Be It programme collectively bring emerging talent from around the world to Cannes, creating opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach.

Not to be overlooked is the Equity, Representation and Accessibility (ERA) Programme. Designed to foster a diverse and inclusive representation of talent within the creative industry, the Programme gives recipients the opportunity to experience Cannes Lions, engage with the global industry and celebrate groundbreaking creativity. ERA allocates up to €2m worth of complimentary Festival passes, welcoming a variety of grassroots and community organisations alongside global charities from across the creative industry to

the Festival.

As Frank Starling, chief DEI officer, LIONS, explained: “Innovation thrives when everyone has equitable access to opportunities. We are proud to open doors for exceptional talent from around the world, enabling them to access the unparalleled opportunities that the Cannes LIONS Festival of Creativity offers.”
